It seems trivial to get excited about a soap dish, but it always seems like the little things end up getting on my nerves, and this soap holder solved a problem I had for a pair of angry of years. I used to have a soap dish that attached to the wall of my tiled shower that I bought from BB&B a few years ago. This lousy soap dish, no matter how clean my tiles were and how carefully I adjusted the suction cup, it would fall off the shower wall every few weeks and make a huge rumble, often in the middle of the night. - Update 07/18/19 - After two years of installing it in my shower, I think it fell off the wall twice. I've never had so much success with a suction cup product in my life. I can handle one outage a year compared to two a month with my previous suction dish. Enter Hasco's Soapbox. I fixed it to my shower wall in the same spot (after thoroughly cleaning the surface) a few weeks ago and have been very confident ever since that it will hold like a brick to the wall. I really like that you can turn the knob to increase the vacuum under the suction cup, so even after a temperature change you can reapply vacuum pressure without falling off the wall. For a fairly cheap item, this reduced the hassle. I had too long. I am very happy with my purchase.
