I really liked this monitor stand. I use it for my iMac 22". First, it came right out of the box. No assembly was required at all. It comes together as one big piece. Literally just take it out of the box, shake off the dust, and you're good to go Hallelujah!- Secondly I wanted something in black that didn't look so cheap to match my black table because it's only $40 worst case scenario I could return it if it was damaged but it arrived undamaged!The inside is not painted the same black, so you have to leave the drawers inside, otherwise another shade of black will stand out Finally, the design has all the features I was looking for: Key features: - Phone storage: the two slats on the left are perfect for the iPhone I I use the back for my iPhone and the front for the tiny tools/adapters I use regularly (e.g. Apple Pencil Charger Key) - Easy access to d The Pens: The pen compartment is big enough for a couple of pens, small mini chopsticks and my lip balm. -Cup holder: To be honest I didn't even think I needed this until I saw it. This keeps my cup of tea away from paperwork (avoids those nasty spills!) Small Drawers: This is perfect for storing all those things that clutter a desk. I use one drawer for desk supplies (staplers, staples, tape, SD cards, etc.) and another drawer for paper items (postal notes, bookmarks, notepads, index cards, etc.). I preferred the drawers to the open shelving so everything was hidden and out of sight. Wide enough for a keyboard: I have a larger keyboard with a number pad, so I needed a monitor stand that would fit the entire keyboard, plus some room to put my mouse pad and mouse in. My desk is quite narrow and the ability to hide the keyboard and use the desk for typing made this feature a major selling point. Extra Storage: The keyboard takes up little space under the front half, so you still have everything you need. another place to store less frequently used items if needed. In general I recommend!
