High Productivity & Shoulder Joint Savior

This was the fourth Logitech trackball mouse I had and third wireless infrared device. I used to have separate blocks for a laptop and a desktop - at home and in the office, but now, in pre-retirement age, I still want a spare. The price was $2 or $3 less than my local Max/Depot office and the unit arrived ahead of schedule in its original packaging and in excellent condition. My heavily used (office) machine eventually broke when the plastic tab that engages the left click couldn't disengage from the mouse button, causing all sorts of chaos (the button was still being pressed when the right index finger was up) during the useful life. In search of the cause of the problem, I disassembled the device (a lot of hidden screws). ) to reveal an irreparably broken button tab that acts as a spring to lift the left mouse clicker when pressed. My guess is that after 1000 left clicks and possibly some shipping damage, the plastic tab is tired and cracked after years of heavy use. I'm glad I had a spare and bought it straight away to replace a decommissioned unit. Logitech's wireless USB transmitter and software allows you to connect one transmitter to multiple Logitech devices, such as B. a wireless mouse and a wireless keyboard, so that no additional devices are required. as a transmitter. Battery life is excellent as long as you remember to turn off the switch (red) when not in use.
