Review on πŸͺ‘ Gray Modway Edge Drafting Chair - Ergonomic Reception Desk Chair with Flip-Up Arms by Alma Carter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Almost bought it - glad I did!

I've had a tall desk that I've used as a writing chair for a number of years in uncomfortable but tolerable charcoal. It recently broke and I decided to find another chair, but more of a table chair (reclinable backrest, movable armrests, etc.). I found this chair (and a few similar ones) on Amazon and eliminated a few due to the lack of reviews or mostly bad reviews. I stayed between this one and the other. I ended up going with this because I'm a taller guy (6ft 1,250lbs) and the other chairs had a 250lb weight rating and I didn't want to pressure him. The reviews about it almost put me off, they were everywhere. People complain about instructions, quality, packaging, materials, etc. If I'm going to shell out over $150 for a chair, I want it to work and be easy to assemble and comfortable. So I dared. And I'm glad I did. The chair arrived at my door at 11:20am today and it is 11:42am as I write this. sit in my chair The instructions were very simple and clear (I've had harder times with Ikea stuff). The quality is excellent, assembly is super easy, and I'm not that handy (it took about 2 minutes of patience to attach the chair to the seat, but it wasn't difficult). The adjustment works great, the seat and back are very comfortable. The footrest is adjustable so I can adjust it to the height I want, which is great. Besides, he looks great. I'll update my review if it changes, but I'm really glad I pulled the trigger. Not sure if some of the reviews were old, more of a disappointment than a review, or if the company has improved quality control. But it's great and I would say if in doubt don't worry. You'll be fine!
