Review on 🌈 YONGNUO YN360 LED Video Light: Professional RGB Colorful Ice Light with Adjustable Color Temperature 5600K by David Ramirez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Successful use in different environments

We've used it in probably every situation imaginable: with the number 2 on the mount and shooting through an umbrella as the main light (other than ambient light) for indoor and outdoor interviews on the go. Like foosball and hair light mixed with our regular CFL in softbox keyboard light. As a background scene in an interview. Once we used just one for the background accent and another time in Mexico we used 4 (and again FFLs in softbox keys) to light up an interview room where we wanted everything to look daytime. And it succeeded. This. differ from other bicolor ones: they are more powerful because more LEDs are dedicated to one color temperature. If you need a tungsten balance, use the gel on the back. Very happy with them. They don't have a true LUX (or pure lumens) rating, which is frustrating, but they've proven bright enough to be useful in many cases. And the battery life is so great. I am currently looking for a very very powerful single chip LED button with Bowens S Mount connector as buttons. Looking at the Godox SL-200 can't find much info on it though, especially fan noise (and example pics would be nice), but the LUX specs look great. Aputure LightStorm daylight looks very weak in comparison.

Pros
  • YN360 is available in two versions: a white version consisting of 320 5600k LED lamps and 40 RGB SMD lamps. The two-tone version consists of 160 3200K LED lamps, 160 5600K LED lamps and 40 RGB SMD lamps.
Cons
  • A few little things
