Review on 🎧 Beoplay H8i: Wireless On-Ear Headphones with ANC, Natural Design, Transparency Mode, and Microphone by B&O PLAY by Hayden Jay ᠌

A practical product, nothing to complain about.

Since headphones have a darling that is somewhat elastic, they may conform to the shape of the ear and provide a secure fit. As a result of this, sound insulation that does not reduce noise is beneficial. Due to this, even though they have soft skin and ear cushions, wearing them for long periods of time might be slightly uncomfortable. The process of canceling out noise is nearly undetectable, and it does not make much sense in and of itself. When you click "Support" or "Instructions" in the menu in 2022 (!) it opens some left pages in English on the browser site, some of which stupidly do not work. This is part of the extremely strange software that b&g developed for android, which has a bunch of meaningless menu items (for example, choosing the color of your headphones:). I have no restrictions on what I read, but in general, a perspective like that towards the customer is not one that belongs in the premium class. But, there is not even a single thing in there that could be useful, thus there is no use in translating it. Touch control can be difficult to understand for a beginner, but it is something that can be learned. That does work, but there is a perceptible wait, and you need to touch the appropriate zones with your finger very precisely ;). And if you do manage to touch it by accident, you will never fail to amuse your companions with the endless loop of your calls:) When I got these headphones, I didn't really have much of a need to make use of the equalization that's built into my smartphone. The fact that you have to swap presets every time you choose a new playback device is a terrible inconvenience, despite the fact that AIMP is an excellent program that gets the job done and rescues the situation. The gist of it is that they are designed for customers who adore the style and the level of comfort they provide, to ensure that customers peck deeply and juicy food, and to prevent customers from taking a steam bath. If you are a sophisticated music listener, my recommendation is that you look for something different or be willing to put up with the fact that you have to change the frequency response through third-party means.

Pros
  • The design, the high quality of the materials used, the sound insulation, and the comfort of the garment. Sound that is clear and deep, with little to no distortion.
Cons
  • 1. Frequency response. The lows are insufficiently lifted, and the center is crushed, which is why only people who enjoy swotting are able to use them in their current form. Without the use of an equalizer, it is impossible to enjoy music of a high quality. Nonetheless, if this issue is resolved, the sound quality overall is quite respectable. In addition, this is a quality of the speakers themselves, as demonstrated by the fact that even when transmitted across a wire, their sound remains unchanged. 2. Native "equalizer". If the user is an idiot in general, as the term suggests, then why does he require regular settings? Let him point his finger at the presets such as "warm," "bright," and so on. And to manufacture at least 6-7 conventional bands (to rectify what they themselves piled up), the developers claim that this is prohibitive for "elite" users to do so. 3. The headphones are brand new with a brand new battery, and the cord is cut off when the indicator is still at 20 percent. Everything would work OK, but in order to charge them after that, you would need to remove the battery and then put it back in again, because otherwise, they would not react to the charging connection. It's not really a feature; it's more of a bug. :)
