Review on SV3C 5MP PTZ PoE Camera: Outdoor Surveillance with 5X Optical Zoom, Sony Sensor, Two-Way Audio, and Night Vision by Chris Beals

I ordered this camera to replace another one I recently bought that just wasn't working well and was blurry. I loved this SV3C PTZ. Very clear, sharp image day and night. While the night vision depth isn't great, it's good enough for my tree-lined urban backyard. Two-way audio works well, even in IE with an add-on. But I've found that most third-party CMS/VMS programs don't support two-way audio. The camera mic is fairly sensitive and the camera speaker is ok for close range (few meters) but not a LOUD speaker or a bullhorn volume. to an external microphone. But now that I can compare this SV3C to a newer PTZ, it has been replaced. The other was MUCH louder during PTZ operations. Overall a very good 5MP 20X PTZ that I like. The specs say it has built-in POE and Wi-Fi, but I haven't tried those. Actually my previous PTZ that I had for about 5 years was on a POE injector and a splitter and it got clogged because the splitter failed and put 67V into the 12V input. So I don't do POE anymore.
