When I buy a new microphone, I mainly focus on dubbing (commercials, audio books, stories, etc.). I currently use an ElectroVoice RE320 dynamic microphone (with cloud lifter) which makes my voice sound nice and resonant. After seeing Booth Junkie's review of the Stellar X2, I decided to buy it for our booth. The first entry I made was my wife reading an ad. It did a really good job on her voice, bringing out the dynamics and overtones without adding hiss or high-frequency flicker (which I then have to smooth out). In my opinion, this brings a pleasant clarity in the mids. I think I found our new voice over mic :-)!
