I'm a size XL because I'm 5'11" (and curvy). I thought I'd go up a size, I usually take L, but this swimsuit was sooo small It fits like an M - when I put it on the cups were mostly on my stomach hahaha Cups can be C and I'm 38DD or 36DDD I knew it wouldn't fully cover the bust but I did think the cup size should be larger for XL. I focused on my hand - the cup basically covered my palm. Even if the fabric is only slightly stretched the print will warp and thin. I am very disappointed with the fit, but the quality seems ok.
