Not what I expect from cats

I put a blanket over the dog bed. It's a cool touch when you first touch it, but don't stay cool for long. It gets warm after my dog lay on it for a while but doesn't feel very warm like a towel. The blanket is thin but light and soft. Not durable, easy to damage just because dog claws walk on it. I didn't return it because my dog had already used it.
