Review on Immerse in Superior Sound: Symphonized ALN Premium Wood In-Ear Noise-isolating Headphones with Mic - Orange Stripe by Joan Hurley

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I don't feel like giving a bad review.

Review update: I bought it in September 2015. I left a 2 star rating with comments below. This month (January 2017) Symphonized emailed me and offered to send me a replacement kit. I have updated my rating to 4 stars. These headphones sound really great. The base is amazing. They sent me another model that doesn't have a fabric covered cord. Touching the cable makes less noise but still seems louder than other headphones I've used. Maybe because the earplugs fit snugly on the ear. I don't notice the same excessive eardrum pressure issue with the new pair, but they are the same as my original pair. They appear to be well made and the fact that the company contacted me was totally unexpected. First Review: I hate to give a bad review but they didn't live up to my expectations. If you move and the cable rubs against your clothing, it will cause a lot of noise in your ears due to the material of the cable. The earplugs have no ventilation. When you put them in your ear, pressure builds up in the ear and my eardrum (or something like that) flexes and ruptures. Tried drilling a vent hole to no avail. Not comfortable. Luckily, after a month, I dropped my phone with the headphones plugged in, which damaged the headphones and stopped working. Goodbye forever.

Pros
  • Plug and Play: The easy-to-use ALN headphones are designed for plug and play. Easily pause/play, answer/end calls, activate voice control and skip tracks with the built-in remote control and microphone.
Cons
  • Not bad but...
