Review on 🔆 HIGH-PERFORMANCE HIKARI UltraFocus H7 LED Bulbs: 18000LM, 32W Prime ZES LED – Upgraded 120W Ordinary LED Replacement, 6000K Cool White, Canbus Ready by Josh Garber

First of all, I'm surprised that Mercedes put such pathetic headlights on the GLE. You have the option to retrofit your headlights, but only if you order an SUV. Anyway, I've tried different halogen bulbs and a few different LED bulbs with no success, which didn't work either. After watching at least a dozen videos on Youtube, the GT-R and Hikari lamps seemed very good to me. I went to Hikari and bought two sets. You will need to purchase adapters as LED lightbulbs typically do not fit in outlets. Another thing is that it is important to synchronize the lamps so that the LEDs are in positions 9 and 3 in the projector lamps. With the MB GLE you have to install the bulbs through the wheel housing. There's an access panel, and once you've removed it, you'll also need to remove the dust cover. The wheel must turn in order for you to achieve anything. In my case I still couldn't see the cartridge clearly and was having trouble securing the bulb in place so it was sent to our local independent Star Mercedes dealer for them to lift with a hoist. After placing it on the lift, Stephen Urness was able to access the socket and install the lightbulb. He turned on the light and the difference between halogen and Hikari LED was amazing. The next problem was the high beams and his hands were too big to fit the bulbs so we'll save that for later. The final issue was the light flickering when CANBUS assumed the bulbs were burned out. This problem was solved by installing Hikari anti-flicker resistors. I also drilled 3 holes in each dust cover just behind each LED's fan so they can dissipate heat since the fans are next to the dust covers. So if you have MB GLE, don't forget to buy Hikari anti-flicker resistors as well. In general, I'm happy with the LEDs so far.
