My son is very picky about his water shoes. He HATES getting rocks in typical water sandals so I thought we'd give these a try. You are perfect! We bought these for the river and they allow him to wear sturdy shoes but do a great job of protecting him from most small rocks/sand. He can pull them tight enough to keep most things out and they are very comfortable. I literally bought every option at Revain to try and they were the only ones that didn't chafe my toe or were too brittle AND they didn't leak anything. After two weeks of daily walks along the Yellowstone river, they didn't pick up an unpleasant odor, dried quickly and still looked brand new!
