The third button (the scroll) makes more noise than the Logitec M510's normal silent mouse. Stronger even than a mouse that has the manufacturer-designated "silent" feature, which should crackle. The same Logitech M220 mouse that I purchased two years ago is nearby on the table; as claimed by the manufacturer at the time, it is "silent" on all three buttons. blatant manufacturing flaw. Reorder and come back. If the subsequent Logitech "silent" mouse that is ordered similarly makes a crackling noise, the firm is now selling only faulty goods on the pretense that, well, scroll "it's not a button!"
