Review on Wireless headphones Creative Outlier Air, black by Somchai Somchai ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are some variations, but tolerable on the whole.

After buying Note 10+, my Sony XBA-N3 with a 3.5 connector has lost its relevance - unfortunately, these 2 wonderful devices cannot be made friends by replacing the cable (I tried wires for Type-C for 9000r, but Samsung does not see headphones through them, solutions for the current moment except for the garden of adapters with 3.5 - NO). Having suffered with wires and having read laudatory odes on audiophile portals, I bought it. The sound is really not bad (at least compared to the wired squalor from the AKG that comes with the Note 10), but it falls far short of Sony. The case is convenient, charging for 10+ hours of work with periodic throwing into the case was enough. And then the cons: 1) There is no application from Creative for these drops. Sound settings only through the player application or through the phone settings. 2) I managed to understand the control of the buttons by typing and not immediately + because of the tight pressing, sometimes you pause instead of scrolling, or vice versa. 3) Bright backlight does not turn off. In the dark, they can interfere while lying in a conspicuous place, it is necessary to put it in a case. 4) I carried the phone in my left pocket, on my left hand a galaxy watch - due to interference from the watch, the connection was constantly interrupted, I had to shift the phone to the pocket opposite the watch. 5) When going out on a busy street or in a cafe, interference interrupts the signal, it is impossible to listen. Nothing helps. 6) The microphone is very weak, on the street you have to yell, in the room the interlocutor hears an echo. 7) Ambient noise is practically not shielded in any way. Although this is not stated. 8) The fit in the ear is comfortable, but the size of the ear pads does not suit me, there is a healthy and a standard-small one in the kit, the middle one is not provided. Looks like it needs to be customized. 9!) For 2 weeks, the left drop died - at first it somehow lost during manipulations (press and hold on the lower part of the case), then it died completely. The buttons were controlled as before - the sound was gone. Now the headphones are in service, but not to say that I'm waiting for them. As a compromise in the absence of normal ears with a type c interface - ok, as a wearable device due to paragraphs 4-7, complete slag.

Pros
  • Decent sound for wireless droplets Convenient case Cute appearance Good build quality Good life time on 1 charge + case
Cons
  • Reliability Quality of communication with the source Noise isolation Microphone and use as a headset
