These are so incredibly soft and really wonderful slippers. They have a soft sole with non-slip inserts and ribbed knit around the ankle opening to keep the foot warm. However, like most Jessica Simpson shoes, they have a slim fit. But what made them totally unsuitable for me is that the ankle hole is too small. I wear a size 10 and am not a tall woman, but the ankle opening was tight and uncomfortable. It doesn't make sense because the rib wrapping allows it to stretch or shrink slightly to fit any ankle, but the hole itself just isn't very big. So unless your ankles are a size 4, even XL won't be comfortable.
