Bought to replace the cable supplied by Canon with the purchase of the Canon Rebel t6i. Now I know it was defective when I bought it. He has a short. Sometimes the computer sees the camera and sometimes it doesn't. I've spent countless hours setting up my DSLR on my MacBook Pro. I have now replaced this cable. Everything is working well. I'm just glad I didn't buy a capture card because it's not needed (with "Camera Time" or an EOS Beta webcam). Don't waste your time with this product.
