Very good desk, strong and durable. I really like the two USB ports - that's exactly why I bought it. They are right in front and easily accessible. However, I can only give four stars because there isn't enough light to read a newspaper unless the room is well lit. The included bulb is equivalent to a 40W bulb, but it's easy enough to swap in a higher wattage bulb. But the pole is too short to shine very far - everything goes under, so you can't read it with this lamp unless you're sitting with a newspaper on your lap. This might work for a book you're holding on your lap, but otherwise there should be enough other light in the room. That's a shame because all it takes to be a very good reading light is another lamp section on a pole to raise the light about a foot or so, but it doesn't have that. It's good to have large writing on your lap, but not enough light to easily read many other things. (Easy to assemble.)
