This pillow saves the mind. We diagnosed plagiocephaly in our son when he was 3 months old. Our pediatrician simply told us not to worry about it, but we found it quite noticeable and wanted to do our best to reduce it. Helmet treatment isn't available from us, and besides, it was well out of our price range. We decided to see an osteopath and ordered a medium size Mimos pillow for our 11 ft. Visiting the osteopath and trying to reposition the baby while he slept seemed to help. Once we got the pillow he found it much easier to sleep properly. We've been using the pillow for 2-3 weeks and the improvements continue. As a mother, I am very grateful to him because I don't have to be constantly checking his head and possibly waking him up every time he sleeps. It is also very useful when he wants to play but is tired of lying on his stomach. I was so tired of holding and entertaining him while he was awake. We will definitely get a smaller pillow for any subsequent children to prevent plagiocephaly. I was a little surprised that it came without a cover. . I was expecting a pillowcase or something. Just order it separately.
