I bought the version (35*24mm) for my 2007 Tacoma. I have a base model with a lot of blank panels due to missing features. I just picked one in a convenient location. I routed the wire from the radio before buying this so all I had to do was pull out the little compartment to the left of the steering wheel and unplug the connector, then just plug that into the hole. No problems, no changes. I connected the USB cables and secured them with cable ties to the wire harness just behind the compartment. No tools or anything else required. The installation took about 5 minutes. Happy with the result.
