They work great but are too big for delicate work. For fine work you need something smaller. They're great for making something the size of a coin (Half Dollar, Old Quarter, etc.). They are not shiny, they are stainless steel, NOT silvery, not shiny but not matte, they are STAINLESS STEEL as they say.
- Fits most necklaces: The top loop is wide enough to thread a cord, cord or chain and turn it into a pendant.
