This is going to be a long review but it is a fair and honest review of the Char Jen products that I have had the privilege of using. I first bought 3 boxes of Char Jen Pro Form Fit. 2.0 ear tips in November/December 2020. They come in two sizes in the box, S/M or M/L. The Fit 2.0 shape that worked best for my ear canal was S/M and these ear tips were extremely comfortable (5 stars for comfort). Then I saw that Char Jen released a new version of Active Tip 3.0, that was her memory foam. with protective outer silicone cover. "The best from both worlds". I bought 3 boxes in February/March 2021. I was about to remove my Char Jen Pro Form Fit 2.0 earbuds from my first set of Air Pod Pros and they fell apart in my hand. The foam separates the plastic mount that attaches to the Air Pod Pro. I actually have 3 pairs of Air Pod Pros and 5 of the 6 Form Fit 2.0 tips that fell apart in my hand when trying to take them off. The foam comes right off the plastic mount and I had to use tweezers to pry the plastic mount off the Air Pod Pros. I contacted Char Jen after the first set of Form Fit 2.0 ear tips fell apart and to Char Jen's credit, they not only sent me another pair of Form Fit 2.0 ear tips but also another set of new Active 3.0 ear tips. I give them full credit for doing this and supporting their products. I installed a new version of Active 3.0 with a silicone case. I wear size S. I wore them on a 4 hour flight and when I got to my destination my ears were literally pounding. They had nothing like the Form Fit 2.0 earbuds, which were extremely comfortable. Once the Form Fit 2.0 ear tips are attached to your Air Pod Pro, they wear great and are very comfortable. If you try to take the Form Fit 2.0 off for any reason, there is a very good chance it will fall apart. As long as you don't have to take them off, they are absolutely comfortable to wear. wear. My advice: stay away from Active 3.0 earbuds with silicone outer shells because they were extremely uncomfortable in my humble opinion. I wrote Char Jen after my other inserts fell apart, and I felt bad just writing the letter. It felt like I was just an angry customer they couldn't make happy. I'm just being honest. The nozzles crumbled. In my humble opinion, I can remove the Form Fit 2.0 earbuds without them falling apart in my hand. To be fair to Char Jen when I removed the Active 3.0 earbuds from all 3 pairs of Airs. Pod Pro I had no problem removing them from my Air Pod Pros. If Char Jan wants to fix the problem, they can send me two more replacement Form Fit 2.0 boxes. I take them knowing that I'm fine as long as I do it. I don't have to take them off my Air Pod Pros. I literally sent all 3 boxes of Active 3.0 back this morning for a full refund. Char Jen considers this review to be an honest and fair review of their products. I could just have gotten a bad batch of Form Fit 2.0. My only complaint about the Active Fit 3.0 is that they are uncomfortable to wear in the ears. Ears are different and different strokes for different people. The Char Jen Form Fit 2.0 gets 5 stars for comfort and 0.1 star for functionality when you need to remove it from your Air Pod Pros. Char Jen Active Fit 3.0 gets 1 star for comfort. 5 stars for functionality and workmanship. Char Jens customer service gets 5 stars on first contact. They owe me two boxes of Form Fit 2.0 if they want to fix me. I have since ordered small gray foam ear tips from Foam Masters Black Magic Version 4.0 and they are very comfortable. I was able to order a whole box in the small size I knew I needed. I hope this review helps others and I hope Char Jen takes the Form Fit 2.0 which I think is a winner and solves her hair loss problem. if you go to remove them. I will also add this overview to Form Fit 2.0.
