The package I received contained 3 strips and 4 pens. You should get a small pin in each strap. Since each strap requires 2 pins I don't know why they didn't send 6. It wasn't too bad attaching the straps to the Fitbit, but strapping the strap onto itself was so annoying. The plastic clasp only worked on one of the 3 straps. The other two had flaws that prevented them from closing. The colors are beautiful and the one strap that clasps was comfortable but I ordered and paid for 3 and as 2 of them don't clasp I don't recommend ordering this.
