This simple human shower enclosure makes a great shower enclosure seat. This probably won't work on the rim of most bathtubs since it's larger than the corners of a bathtub can normally accommodate. If the tub is in a platform environment, this will work. The processing of the device is excellent. We needed more storage space, so we bought an extra shelf from simplehuman. Find it in the product support section of their website. It's almost as expensive as the entire unit as the shelf and mounting tab are separate pieces, but we love having all the shower accessories neatly in one place. The cost (51 and 42) for a shower stall is over the top, but all the others I've seen had a cheaper design with flimsy little wire shelves that rusted quickly or weren't held up with a tie rod or were unstable with little plastic shelves. The blocks hanging over the shower head get in the way and are too small if you use a lot of different products. The shelves on this unit are relatively large and very strong, made from heavy gauge steel. I am satisfied with all Simplehuman products that I have. I have posted two photos on customer pictures showing the unit with an extra shelf.
