Picked up for use in the camp kitchen. Titanium coated stainless steel would be well suited to being exposed to the elements. They got pretty sharp, but I pierced them with a sharpener and now I've been able to shave with them. To be honest I have chef's knives that cost 10 times more than these and now I'm almost pissed that I spent that much money on them! If I had to find a fault, they feel a bit light at the end of the handle because they're plastic, but I can live with that given all the other good things about these knives. After some time of use I'll come back and let you know if I'm still blown away by these knives.
