Let me start by saying that I love this concept and have only used it once so far. My idea was to use it on my boat where I don't always have access to 110V for my regular coffee grinder, but I would still like to grind fresh beans while at anchor. I have tried several manual coffee grinders without much success. Of course I trained well, but there is not much ground coffee. The Coffee Boy is very well made and if the grinder lasts a long time, it will be great. Everything is compact and the fact that it charges via USB is one of the main things that drew me to it. Now for my two main complaints at the moment: the grind is excruciatingly slow, and the screen is so thin that it clogs almost immediately, preventing the water to brew coffee from draining away. I think if you have 30 minutes to just let the thing grind that's fine, but I like my coffee relatively quickly after waking up. Second, I don't know how to make the water drain faster when the fine mesh is clogged. Maybe I'm missing something on these two issues, and if so, I'll be sure to reply later!
