I received these items on time. They were well packaged and arrived safely. They are very attractive and durable and work great. Pepper's grinders are metal, while Salt's are ceramic. There is a small protective strip of plastic on the underside of the burr, but the burr itself is ceramic and not plastic. The mills are easy to fill and grind from coarse to very fine. I was worried. about the small size but I shouldn't have! In fact, they're far more convenient and easier to use than larger coffee grinders, and as a bonus, they're small and attractive enough to take to the table with you.
