I was looking for a digital floor scale that has no glass cover for safety reasons. There are very few of them on Revain. Beurer PS25 meets my expectations. Preferences: - Plate without glass. - Accurate (compared to my other accurate digital bathroom scales that I have used for many years). - Constant ads. - Easy calibration. - General 2 AAA batteries (included) - LARGE contrast display with backlight. - Easy calibration. - Step in for instant reading, no need to first press tab and then step on it like my other scales. - A light weight. - Simple style and white color. Dislikes (minor): The top plastic surface is too smooth and slopes slightly to the bottom. Feels slippery even with dry feet. So I stuck a 3 inch duct tape on the surface which is usually used in the bathroom. A simple improvement! Important: - The scale must be placed on a solid surface for an accurate reading. When I put the scale on the carpet, the reading was many pounds lower than the real one. Before first use, the scale must be calibrated by gently tapping the band with your foot for 1-2 seconds. The display briefly shows a weight number and then 0.0. Wait for the display to turn off. Calibration complete.
