I didn't start closing the truck's windshield at first because of the large area of the rear-view mirror box, OnStar, etc. close while driving. Once closed, it was a little strenuous to get to the strap's winding point. We found that there is a very small square of velcro at the end of the strap to attach to. Due to the bulkiness of the item, it is very difficult to put it back in the pouch provided. We will use spring-loaded and folding sun visors.
