The wall anchors supplied with this shelf are made of very brittle plastic and will bend easily if attempted to mount to the hole size specified in the instructions. This means that no matter how carefully you try to align the drill holes, the screws may not go straight in after you insert the plastic anchors. I learned this the hard way. I struggled for three days to align the shelves before simply buying new wall anchors and reinstalling them. I would suggest buying stronger metal wall anchors instead of using the flimsy plastic anchors that come with mounting brackets if you're trying to install them in drywall that isn't supported by wall studs. The shelves and mounting brackets are fine on their own, but once you've drilled those holes and installed the plastic wall anchors, you're stuck with the way they curve, meaning the shelf may not be level, when you are ready . I also don't think they will hold as much weight as advertised. The packaging says it can hold up to 25 pounds, but the glass shelf is already pretty heavy. I think if the shelf was plexiglass it would barely detach from the wall under the weight of whatever you put on it. But don't count on it holding 25 pounds unless it's secured to solid wood or wall studs behind it, especially with their flimsy wall anchors.
