These are nice shoes because Ralph Lauren makes nice shoes. The shoes are true to size. My angel wears about a 6 slant to a 6.5 meter/wide width and I ordered an 8. The look of the shoe is made up of three different materials: leather, suede and nylon. The toe and heel are made of heavy nylon, which is intended to prevent the heel and toe from scaring quickly. The shoes have a zip in front of the tongue and a strap over the zip that fastens with Velcro. The inside of the shoe is made of soft material and the inside of the tongue is made of soft leather. The bottom of the shoe has a good grip as it feels like a well made shoe.
