I wanted to find a cheaper alternative to the Bloch slippers I used to buy as I was wearing them out after only a few months of practice. These shoes were too big and baggy. The fabric seemed to clump up a lot more than any other slipper I've worn where it pooled on the sole of the shoe causing the sole of the shoe to be uneven (around the toe and ball of the foot at least). This bump caused blisters between the ball of my foot and my toes. Not sure if ordering a smaller size will solve this issue or not. I probably won't buy another pair just to find out. I still have this pair on hand as a backup shoe in case my blochs are lost (the ball of the foot issue is usually bearable for one session and gives me some time to find my basic slippers) or wear beforehand if I've had the chance Visit the local dance shop.
