Has suffered from a herniated disc for a long time. I went through a few mattresses which helped early on, then the morning pain and stiffness slowly returned. This is the second "correction" of the pad I've tried, it was only in place for 2 nights but both mornings I woke up with about 80-90% pain reduction. I didn't have to crawl for an hour before the discs were sufficiently lubricated to ease the discomfort. I can bend over my dog's darling again in the morning! I realize this has been a short try so far, but performance so far has been impressive. I will come back later and update the review if anything changes. I would deduct 1/2 star for the price as it's a bit pricey for what it is (a piece of compressed foam) but you can't give half a star and I've rounded up. Things I like: 1) This is the right size to target from mid-back to buttocks; 2) It is light and rigid enough for precise installation; 3) You don't realize it's him; 4) It offers perfect AM relief. Dislikes: Prices are a bit high. I'm not sure how long it will be effective, but even if I have to replace it every month, it's worth $1 a day to me for improving your sleep. How well this works depends on the type of mattress you have, but it works great under my 15 inch heirloom mattress.
