Review on SATAN by Gary Lucas

The most useful feature of Satan for me was that it helped in finding out vulnerabilities from my servers very quickly as compared with other tools which I used before using satan (like nessus).Satans also provides some easy way points where you can start your own testing process by providing inputs like IP address or port number etc., but sometimes its not so helpful when we are trying hard find something specific about our target server/application because there isn't much information provided while searching through all available options given at first page itself! If any one wants quick results then this software should be considered otherwise if they want detailed analysis than go ahead!! Finding vulnerability related issues within few minutes time span really helps us alot during penetration tests especially pentesting phase.
