Review on Tandy Leather Waxed Nylon Thread 25 yds Black 1227-01 - Durable & Professional-grade Stitching Thread for Leather craft by Amy Mcleod

This is a waxed nylon thread - what can you say about that? It's what I expected and at a reasonable price. Bought for a sewing kit in my bug out bag and a travel kit specifically for gear repairs. Have you ever been 60 miles from nowhere when your backpack strap snapped? I was. NO good times. Carrying a 60lb backpack in your arms or even on one shoulder makes the hike gross. Since then I've carried extra buckles, straps, thimble sailing needles and now this heavier thread. It's twisted so if needed I can untwist the part to remove a few strands for a smaller "gauge" thread. I hope I never need it, but I'm sure I have it and will be thankful when I need it.
