I don't usually write negative reviews because I feel someone's experience will depend on their own situation. But I have to say this is the worst raincoat I have ever bought in my life. When I first received it I was already disappointed that the hood didn't tighten around my head in any way. At the slightest gust of wind he flies away and his head and hair get soaked. I also didn't feel like it was very durable or waterproof, which I found while running from the grocery store to my car in a downpour. The snapped items in my bag got so wet that the wrapper detached from the candy bar. During this time I ran to my car. That's ridiculous. I didn't think it could be worse. But here we are less than six months after I bought it and it's no longer waterproof AND the zipper is coming loose from the bottom. I prefer not to wear it. This coat might fit someone who just hangs around, but actually I work outside and need to move in all conditions. this is a joke Don't waste your money and buy something from LL Bean.
