Review on ๐Ÿฑ NurtureCALM Feline Calming Pheromone Collar - Effective up to 15 inches Neck Size by Courtney Stone

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The collar is NOT removable!

These collars don't come off properly and my cat almost died from it. After wearing it for a month - no noticeable change in behavior, inappropriate urination didn't stop - he climbed onto the fridge at will and my wife yelled at him to come down as she likes to do. But this time, as he jumped down, the collar somehow caught on the closet door handle and the poor fellow actually hung himself. This is a very large cat, almost 20 pounds, and the collar is not broken. I wasn't home and if by God's grace my neighbor wasn't visiting my cat would be dead by now. Luckily my neighbor is a doctor and actually resuscitated my cat and got him breathing again. We then took him to the vet who examined him, gave him steroids, muscle relaxants and shots for neck pain and sent him home. Thank goodness he's fine, but don't thank Nurture Calm for selling collars that don't come loose like they should. I will never buy one again and will warn anyone who will listen that they are risking their pets lives by using these collars. As I said, my cat is very large and the collar didn't snap when he jumped off the fridge and latched onto it, so it won't break with a hard hit. I'm attaching a photo of the result in case anyone wants to see it.
