The only reason I bought bandages is because I got tired of pulling the velcro to get to the lens. I saw these things and decided to buy some and get rid of some pads. As some have noted, they make lenses bulkier, but in my case I mostly use prime lenses. I use Pentax and some of these primes are just damn, my K-5 actually looks like a P&S, others are regular sized primes. I also have two zooms, 16-45mm and 70-300mm, I use the first a lot, the second less. My hardware is much smaller than other systems and I really like the compactness of Pentax, but it also represents a significant amount of money, I can live with the extra volume. I have an OP/TECH collar, the professional version, which I also really like, so I knew what quality this company could produce. After all, there's nothing wrong with buying American-made goods.
