The obtrusive Mi ecosystem, subpar typefaces (especially in contacts and the dialer), and other standard Xiaomi issues are all present. Because I was prepared for this, I'll note it in the comments rather than as a failing. The smartphone "lost" both my fingerprints and PIN at some point during the first month of use, and there was nothing that could be done to fix it other than a factory reset. Just nerves and a few hours of time were lost because all data was copied to the clouds, but since then I haven't banned anything because only banking applications are secured by their codes.
