Review on Sony - C400 Wireless Behind-Neck In Ear Headphone White (WIC400/W) by Ahana Sharma ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Normal product, but wanted more for the money.

The headphones are not terrible overall. Nonetheless, they did give in for me, and it looks like the folks around here blogged about it. The headphones themselves appeared to be connected, but after 30 minutes of use, they suddenly stopped making any noise. This happened sometime during the first six months. The audio quality is satisfactory, as one would expect from Sony. Strong low end and clean highs. When the headphones are turned on, the only way to know if they are on is by the sound coming from them and a tiny indication. By the way, it's an annoyance at night. That being said, you can buy, but your use of them must be very careful. In my perspective, there are alternate solutions available.

Pros
  • Reasonably priced, high-quality audio. Even though they are my first Bluetooth headphones, they have a surprisingly lengthy battery life. Though usually cozy, they aren't necessarily relaxing. Easy to use voice prompts.
Cons
  • Sometimes it's uncomfortable to touch since plastic is so cheap. Having to connect is a major pain. I haven't used NFC, but Bluetooth has been a disaster for me. After a half hour apart, they reconnect. They perform poorly as a headset. The microphone is horrible; it is weak, rarely picks up speech, and has a compressed-sounding quality. Sports can be painful for the collarbones.
