Fan did not fit: Couplings
According to the statement, it fits my 97 Toyota Tacoma 4 cyl. 2.4L. The socket fits on the spindle, but the original fan clutch is bolted to the fan. This new Aisin I ordered has a built in threaded bolt. I had to go for premium hardware and get nuts to secure the fan. Also, my original fan did not sit flush with this fan clutch. I had to use an angle grinder to sand down some of the plastic on my fan to get it to fit properly. wasn't a major inconvenience but definitely had to improvise. It's still a great product and I got this and it works fantastic.
