Long and overly explained review

The photos were used for my warranty emails and should not be flagged for this review. Before I start I just want to say that I'm pretty picky about details and quality so I don't expect everyone to agree or base their opinion on Respawn products on this one review. However, when you pay $400 for a table, you expect it to have quality materials. This was not the case. I originally bought this table in 2020 but this review is based on interacting with the company over a few months. At first I didn't see anything wrong. I felt I got what I paid for and was completely satisfied with the table. That was until our heating went out in the winter and the temperature in the room the table was in dropped to 40 degrees before we turned the heating back on. When we finally managed to heat the house and room, I immediately noticed huge bubbles in the side walls. I assumed there was an adhesive underneath the top layer that didn't cope well with sudden drops and rises in temperature. Well I thought this was probably an issue for all 4 piece table parts until I noticed that the middle and top segments were unaffected. I also noticed that the sidewalls were slimmer, wider, and overall seemingly cheaper, in contrast to the firmer, more tactile mids and uppers. The parts appeared to be just plagiarized versions of the design of the other two parts. Eventually I realized I still had warranty and contacted a woman whose name I will not name who worked in her warranty department and I explained the situation. She sent the replacement parts fairly quickly and I thought everything was fixed when I got them in 2 days. After a while I finally opened the box and started swapping parts. Then I realized the box was the wrong box (it comes in 2 sets of boxes - one with a center section and stands and the other with side panels and extras). I contacted Brick, or at least that's what I'll call her, because at some point I realized I'd spoken to her and she corrected it immediately and sent the correct box. It wasn't until I finally got home from a trip to my parents' house and opened the box that I realized that one of the side panels was in a vacuum-sealed plastic bag and the other in a loose plastic bag with a red label, and I already knew I was wanted more. The loosely wrapped panel was perfect and exactly the same as the centers; the grooves are aligned, of the same material and of the same thickness. There was no vacuum panel. I contacted Brick again and explained the situation again and after she confirmed the still ongoing problem with the product which is now under warranty she sent the last box. The box had 2 side walls, also made of inferior materials. It was at this point that I realized that instead of listening to what was going on and trying to fix a problem, the one with one, Brick was probably just pressing a button to send me new stuff every time I complained call to the warehouse worker could be resolved. Brick told me that support was no longer available and that while Respawn acknowledged the issue, they "cannot guarantee the quality of the product". Well now, because he's a Brick, Brick has stopped trying and has refused to continue communicating. All in all I got a mismatched table (two and a half actually, thanks to Brick) made of different materials and no response or support from the company after constantly trying to get out. This may not be the case for all products, but I will never trust Respawn for quality assurance again. correct ending. I just wanted a solid table and got Bricked instead)
