Review on 🔦 Auxbeam 9006 HB4 LED Bulbs: Ultra Bright 8000LM Per Set 6500K Fog Light Bulbs, Noiseless & Fanless Design – Pack of 2 by Alif Wills

The installation of this headlight was extremely horrible and did not fit the standard 9006 plug. First, the plug is polarized, which means correct orientation is required, so you may need to reverse the connection. This part doesn't really matter. The first major benefit was that there are lugs on either side of the 9006 fork that need trimming or grinding. Second, once installed, it's nowhere near 8000 lumens. It may be 8000 lumens with both headlights together, but these lights actually seem dimmer than the 5000 lumen bulbs on my truck. This was to be expected, so I'd rate the brightness 3 stars out of 5 Second, after grinding down the unnecessary edge of the protrusion, the 9006 connector attached to the headlight still didn't fit 100% into the connector. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that the connector supplied with this fixture was only a few millimeters thicker than the standard 9006 connector. The engineering tolerances for this item are too great to be plugged in and played with. I ended up spending an hour using sandpaper and an exacto knife to scrape the inside of the connector to install it as accurately as possible. Also in this case the connector does not fit 100%. I ended up using rubber bands and tape as a temporary fix to keep the metal power connectors in contact, but will be replacing them with another set of aftermarket headlights. Until this company fixes the tolerances for the 9006, AVOID THIS POINT IF YOU WANT TO RIDE AT NIGHT!
