The fabric exceeded my expectations. It is semi-cut, matte and has a slightly ribbed appearance. I was glad it didn't have cheap polyester or a shiny look. The color is dusty, pink-purple. I agree with the other reviewer bordering on purple. I personally like that the color is as far away from sweetish pink as possible. I was expecting to have to attach the fabric to the hoop upon arrival, but was thrilled to find that it simply opened up and was ready to hang. Yes, the fringes come in mint, but how can you not expect that with shipping? I'm sure a quick look with a steam iron and a comb once it's hung will make it perfect. The included hook and wall anchor don't look appropriate if you plan on having kids around. I already anticipated this and will be installing something stronger :) My only real complaint about this product relates to its length. I should have paid more attention to the measurements, but it is approximately 7.5 feet long from hanging loop to bottom hem. Even if you have a standard 8 foot ceiling, it looks weird like a waterspout when you hang it as is. I would like the seller to include a few yards of matching tape so the buyer can easily adjust the length. That would give this product 5 stars in my opinion. I intend to leave this but am not thrilled that I now have to hunt for the right tape to be able to set it up so it looks nice and finished.
