First let me say that the quality was top notch! But the size is very loose. My 10 year old is a size 8 on everything we buy. I had to order a size 12 to get her head through the head hole and it required quite a bit of special positioning. It used to fit pretty well but the chest was loose so I had to pin it up. I tried 8 and 10 before 12 and her head didn't come through the hole. Be careful when choosing the size but the dress was beautiful and we were both thrilled that we were able to make it. Returning the smaller sizes during sorting out was quick and easy.
