I installed a set of these sensors on a 2002 Toyota 4Runner. They work as advertised and the pressure is shown on a display that plugs into the power port. I like these sensors on our new cars more than the TPMS: 1) Tire pressure is set constant so it's easier to monitor when the outside temperature fluctuates and we're losing a few psi a week 2) If one of them fails, it will simply exchanged. It is not necessary to remove the tire from the wheel to access the sensor. 3) I've had recent TPMS sensors leaking and it's a hassle to replace and program. 4) I can easily transfer these sensors when I buy new tires, again with no hassles of changing and programming. I want to replace all cars to only use these sensors and replace the TPMS valve stems with a simple and reliable rubber valve. stems. In the past, Wal-Mart has stated that they must reinstall TPMS sensors for liability reasons. I take the wheels off the car and take them to a tire shop and tell Wal-Mart that the wheels were from an older car that didn't have TPMS.
