The string is extremely cheap breaks easily.
I restrung it with clothes line rope. I also went over the top crosswise to keep the wind from destroying it. I live in the desert where it is hot and winds are fierce. I covered my pool with 2 of these and doing the changes and crisscross 3 weeks in I'm thrilled with these canopy's.
