The clamp does not fit other brands of NATO rails, and the screws sit proudly above the mounting surface
This NATO rail and clamp set will not fit other NATO rails and clamps. This rail has a width of 20.5 mm. My other rails are 20.8mm wide. You can adapt this clip to other rails by disassembling the locking lever and loosening the clip's shaft. The screws holding the plate that secures the locking lever are too high above the surface you would mount the camera or accessory on. As a result, the mounting surface is not level. The locking lever is always loose and rattles. This can be a problem for audio recording. If you need accuracy, you should look elsewhere.
