My daughter just got a cat and they are almost inseparable but her new cat is an indoor cat and hates going outside. I thought it might help my daughter to take her cat outside from time to time without scaring the cat. All in all it seems to be working and her cat usually takes her for a walk but only for 10 minutes before she gets nervous. The bag works as expected and her cat weighs about 10 pounds but fits her well. . I have to say that getting them into the carrier is harder than anything, but the internal strap that secures the collar is really handy for tying them down. Once the strap is attached to the collar, tighten the neck strap, it all depends on how the cat's body is positioned and how the zipper is closed. If your pet is on the soft side, this is a great way to take them with you.
