Review on Annamaet Grain Free Sustain Line Caught Free Range Dogs by Elizabeth White

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Expensive but high-quality protein content, sustainable methods, grains without major allergens!

Dogs and cats tried to pry it open before I could put it in the bowls. I have two Great Pyrenees guarding livestock. They also make great family pets and require constant attention. However, due to a food allergy suspected by the vet, their skin has become scaly and they burrow a lot. A few months ago I switched to grain-free products with great results, so I wanted to try other flavors and brands. So far it's a hit at my house. Even the cats tried to help get into the bag. It's more expensive but free of major allergens like corn, wheat, and soy. It also doesn't use rice as its main carb and appears to use lentils and peas instead, which is great since it's in the legume family. Doesn't itch or flake like corn and wheat products. Dogs are omnivores and mine especially loves an omnivore diet. The protein content in this feed is quite high - 33%. It has a high content of taurine and many minerals. There is turmeric in this formula, but I think it's more for food coloring and flavor as small amounts are processed quickly. Especially in my big boys and girls. In general very satisfied. Right now I'm making 1/4" with their delicate Purina, but with these good ingredients I think I could completely replace it. They're not super picky. Good buy, albeit pricey.
